Branches, leaves, brush, sod, old plants and landscaping debris are all accepted. Dirt, rock and concrete are heavy, so ask first before you load them. Treated wood from decks and fences is usually fine, but keep paint, chemicals, fuel and tires out. For large trunks and other items, the Wasatch County Transfer Station lists what it accepts.
Placement and Timing
We place the bin as close to the work as access allows, usually on the driveway or a firm, level spot. Before delivery, mark the spot and move vehicles out of the way. Because spring is our busiest season for yard projects, book a week or two ahead when you can.
